Location
We are the right place to be! Norris Lake consists of two major rivers and numerous creeks, and from late May through Fall, the lake’s water temperature remains steady and the waters stay clean as no major dam feeds into the reservoir.
Recreational use of Norris Lake is higher than any other TVA-tributary lake. At normal summer pool with the lake level at 1020 (sea level) there are over 34,000 acres of water to enjoy. 56 species of fish are found in the area; lake and river fishing includes catches of Brown and Rainbow Trout, striper bass, small and largemouth bass, walleye, and crappie. Several commercial fishing guide services are available including Cove Creek Charters at www.covecreekcharters.com.
Along the 800+ miles of shoreline enjoy golfing, hiking, horseback riding, caving, rock climbing, swimming pools, recreational programs and camping. Hundreds of secluded coves, 3 state parks and two wildlife management areas are ideal for watching eagles, blue heron, deer, turkey, elk, beaver and other wildlife!
Come see why Norris Lake is Tennessee’s most popular water sports destination and why Twin Cove Resort and Marina is the most beautiful marina on the lake!
